What is stored
A random device ID is stored in your browser. The service stores nicknames, chat, requests, votes and recent presence. Member records also include a stable user ID, email, display name, status and rooms created.
Why it is needed
The data maintains the shared queue, prevents duplicate voting, restores chat, estimates presence and enforces host and request permissions.
Your choices
You can rename yourself, stop posting or clear site data to receive a new device ID. Do not post sensitive personal information in public chat.
